Summary

Primo e ultimo romanzo di Ennio Flaiano, nel 1947 vinse l’edizione inaugurale del Premio Strega, racconta la storia di un tenente dell’esercito italiano in Abissinia, durante la campagna del 1936. Al centro della trama, l’incontro e il conseguente rapporto intimo con una ragazza indigena che il protagonista poi ucciderà per errore.
