This is the complete Tell Me a Story collection, with dozens of magical folktales written by author Amy Friedman and read by stage and screen's most talented actors, with music by renowned composer Laura Hall will delight listeners from 5 to 95.
From the banks of the mighty Mississippi to a sparkling stream in Kyoto, from the misty moors of Scotland to Africa's folktale forests, listeners will be transported as legendary heroes, mythical maidens, and talented tricksters weave their magic. The compilation is funny, wise, and richly compelling.
Amy Friedman (writer and co-producer) writes Tell Me a Story and has also written numerous books, articles, and stories for adults. Amy teaches writing in Los Angeles and Cleveland and hopes to continue to produce more CDs of the more than 750 stories she has written for Tell Me a Story.
