Fun love story
An easy listening fun love story. I had to turn it down or put headphones on sometimes when cooking and family were around as a bit “fruity” in parts for a child to hear 🤣. I enjoyed it though.

Funny, steamy and engaging
My neighbors must be wondering what's up with me because I laughed out loud so many times in this story. You wouldn't think a book this funny would have depth, but it does. It also has some super hot love scenes. I can't wait to read the next one. I love the author's writing style.

Easy light hearted listen

Had me enjoying dog walks in the rain!
A spicy romcom that had me laughing and cringing. Loved the refreshing way Georgia’s v card was handled. And loved the mix up with the app. And it’s free on Audible - what’s stopping you!?

so funny
I was finding it hard to endure the constant swings from quiet voice to screeching shouty voice within each sentence from C.J. and dropped a star just because it was sometimes uncomfortable on my ears even when I had switched from headphones to speakers.
But I have persevered with this one as it is probably one of Max's funniest books I've 'read' to date. I did need to suspend belief around his initial reasons for asking her for the date. Other than that weak point the premise was pretty good
I do wish I had known that a few of the different series are actually interconnected as I've read those before this series, but this book appears to be the very 1st of all of them in the timeline. I will definitely be doing a reread in the correct sequence once I've got them all. TtB is currently my favourite of these books.
