Love Anne Bishop stories. She is a great writer. Enjoyed this story too Unfortunately what let the whole audio book down was the sudden change of accent for Jaenelle. She is Irish in this book As the narrator has done the previous books it was quite a surprise and not a welcome one. Maybe it was an unwelcome surprise like the ones in the spooky house!!

The story was lovely and I really enjoyed it, however there was no flow or continuity with the audio., from the other books that come before it in the series. The main character went from having a soft gentle voice to having this hard one with a completely different accent. It really spoilt listening to the book for me
