A fun and fabulous book.
I really enjoyed this audio book and Lauren Graham's narration. I was full of details of the Gilmore Girls behind the scenes and the actresses own humour was shining through. I highly recommend you give it a listen.

Funny, and Inspirational
She is so funny and, Interesting, I was captivated from the first sentence. The book had me laughing and the way she carries a story is mesmerising. a truly inspiring woman, and so interesting to hear her story. But did anyone else feel like that wasn't the end....

Gilmore Girls fans won't be disappointed
When I listened to this book I had only watched two of the four Gilmore Girls, a year in the life. Whilst she talks about the new shows- she doesn't spoil. There are a few minutes where you feel Lauren is trying to be Lorelai but I guess that's to be expected. As a massive GG fan, to hear all about the show was brilliant. I love how disorganised it was. I love how it was all last minute but everyone cleared their schedules to do it. To hear the cast loved it as much as the fans is great. I'll miss Lauren chatting in my ear on the way to work.

A brilliant book
I love Lauren Graham so even hearing that this book was being written filled with my excitement. So although I may be biased, I could also have been setting myself up for disappointment. I wasn't at all disappointed. A great balance of Gilmore girls insights and also insights into the Acting Industry and Lauren's life. I didn't want it to end

Reading as fast as I can
I love Lauren Graham especially in Gilmore Girls and to finally get my hands on her book and listen to fast talking again is great! This book couldn't be any better. I especially love when she gets side tracked, it kinda reminds me of myself going off on tangents. It is definitely worth a read!

Easy!
So I'm not usually into non-fiction, but I really love Gilmore Girls, and I've only heard good things about this book. Happy to say that the good things are true!🌞
Laurens attitude toward life and hard work is a joy to follow, and while it was a bit annoying to have her jump around the times so much that I sometimes lost track of when something happened, it's kind part of what you expect. I mean that in the best way, she seems a little scatterbrained, just like a happy amd energetic person, and that comes through in her writing.
It was a joy for me, and I give it 4⭐, not 5 because of the getting lost easily part. Well worth a read though, I had no idea that she was such a hard worker which was nice to see!

Hearing Lauren herself talking about what it was like to be on Gilmore Girls was just amazing. I laughed out loud, I gasped and cried… what an amazing book!

So incredibly special
What made the experience of listening to Talking as Fast as I Can the most enjoyable?
There are so many things that made listening to this book enjoyable. I would have to say Lauren's reading is a massive factor, and the level of detail she goes into in all of the right places. If you love Gilmore Girls, you HAVE to listen to this book.
What other book might you compare Talking as Fast as I Can to, and why?
I couldn't compare this book to any other biography/non-fiction. Lauren should have her own genre. It's funny, emotional, interesting and beautiful.
What does Lauren Graham bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Lauren's delivery of her own jokes and asides is superb, and yes, she really does talk fast! But in a good, excited way; the way that we have all come to love through Lorelai. I don't think anything beats hearing a writer read their own story, because they understand it more than anyone else, it brings emotion to the book.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Lauren talks about filming "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life", I cried almost every time she said she cried. It was so moving, but don't listen when you're driving - you won't be able to see for the tears, and you might "move" into a wall.

Absolutely loved!
I've been a Gilmore Girls fan since I was a child and this was the best book to listen to. Lauren is so witty and wonderful.
