Summary

True to his reputation, Rip Rhino never could control his temper. Maddened by the insults of a cheeky monkey troop, he charges blindly in the direction where they are playing. Rip's great horn gets stuck in the old sycamore fig tree. Finding himself all alone, for the first time in his life he feels afraid. Will he ever be free again?

Grumpy Rhino Gets His Just Desserts!

What did you like most about Rip Rhino and the Woodpecker's Wisdom?

A great tale about the benefits of team work and why being a grump gets you nowhere (something I am constantly trying to explain to my youngest!).

Who was your favorite character and why?

Spinosa, for her kindness!

What about Rula Lenska’s performance did you like?

My children loved the different voices of the characters and couldn't believe it when I told them it was the same person playing all the parts.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
