Summary

An army of monsters walks among us, hidden in plain sight. They're fast. They're strong. They're unrelenting. And they only want one thing: The shitty gas station at the edge of town.

Coming as a surprise to absolutely no one, Jack - night-shift clerk and local crazy person - has found himself neck-deep in the middle of yet another world-ending terror. And this time around, nobody can be trusted.

Not that tough-as-nails cop who probably knows a lot more than she's letting on. Not the adorkable new employee who might be something far less innocent than she appears. Not even Jack's best friend/emotional support human, whose mysterious past seems to have finally caught up with him.

In this latest installment of the Gas Station saga, Jack's world will change forever. Questions will be answered, and answers will be questioned. Friends become enemies. Strangers become enemies. Frenemies become enemies. (You know what? Jack is going to have a lot of new enemies.)

Prepare yourself. Things are about to get weird.

A Perfect Sequel

Three books in, and there is only really one stark truth to the series from a reading point of view
The plot can do whatever is wants, you'll love it anyway

If you've reached Volume 3, then you already know what you are in for. A TFTGS book is like a bout of controlled madness, its doesn't always make sense, but it works. This may also be the best instalment so far, mostly due to its almost desperate plot. It pushes forward at a relenting pace, with barely any downtime. It somehow also contrasts bone crushing misery, with an all encompassing hope that few writers truly achieve.

An exceptional read/listen. God knows how the series will eventually end, but for now it's firing on all cylinders.

OMG amazing!!

I've listened to all 3 books in this series and I have to say they were all amazing, funny, captivating and unexpected. The narration was excellent and is probably the best narration I have heard In a while. This style of book and story is not really the norm for me but I took a chance and I am so glad I did. What a great listen, I'm glad I opted for something different.

3rd times a charm

Brilliant narration from Mr creepy pasta as always.
Once again Jack is back and unlike some series where the writer begins to struggle to keep the characters and story going by the third book Jack does not have this problem. I can not wait for the fourth adventure thanks Jack!

Amazing! Hilarious! Must listen!

I was waiting with much anticipation for the third volume.....and it didn't disappoint!!!!!! I adore this series.....so well written......every single character you either love with all your heart or despise with passion! Jack and Jerry hold so much space in my heart! This volume manages to be laugh out loud funny....while taking you on a decent into despair and maddness. Jack Townsend is a phenomenal writer, with such humour and warmth.... while Mr Creepy Pasta is thee best narrator in the world, bringing the characters to full colour life. I look forward to Volume 4. Do your self a favour..... listen to all three volumes immediately!

This one goes so many places.

It's by far the most compelling and has the best story hooks of the entire series.
