This is an audio reread for me. It's even better than it was the first time aroujd but now with the duet narration *chefs kiss* I really enjoyed this. It sucked me in and I could barely put this down. I loved how obsessed the MMC was with the FMC, despite the situation and the fact he barely knows her. There are a few spots that could be triggering so please heed the warnings and enjoy the ride.

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Siobhan Davis’s mafia romances. I love this world and I love these characters but Fiero Maltese is everything I didn’t know I needed.

As always Siobhan David knocked this story right out of the park, I devoured this beautiful well crafted story and I never wanted it to end.

Fiero Maltese is a don and he works alongside all our memorable characters from other books in the series on the mafia commission. Fiero has never settled down and he doesn’t plan too till he sets his sights on valentina. It’s love at first sight for him and he will do whatever it takes to make her his, even if it means making a deal with her don husband.

Valentina is trapped in an arranged marriage. Valentina has suffered horrendous abuse at the hands of her husband, and dreams of escaping his clutches. When Valentina meets Fiero there’s an instant connection between them that she can’t deny.

I adored valentina and Fiero’s romance, their chemistry was undeniable I couldn’t help but root for these two as a couple. “Taking what’s mine.” Is jam packed with twists and turns, buckle up for the thrill ride of your life and prepare to fall completely in love with Fiero.

If you love mafia, age gap romances then I highly recommend you grab “taking what’s mine.” I can’t recommend it enough.

The narration told by Silas Hart and Ash Kingsley was exquisite. Both of these narrators truly captured the essence of these characters and brought this wonderful story to life. I cannot recommend this audio enough!
