Not so good

I don't like leaving negative reviews especially when I was given a free copy to review but in all honesty I can't leaving a glowing 5 star report for a poor 2 star story with 1 star narration.

Ok, first the not so bad. The story is a quick erotic read/listen and actually the "plot" is pretty good and makes sense. It hits the mark and could be a quick thrilling tale.

The writing is so-so at best but that's nothing unusual in this kind of quick, down and dirty short story. However one of the big let downs was the constant unrealistic reference to colour/race. In an interracial story then I can understand someone saying "lick my black pussy" etc but with a husband and wife of the same race/colour it doesn't make any sense at all. They're both black so why would they say it. Totally unbelievable and it spoiled the story. Later when it does become multi-racial I get that the author is highlighting this but again, not with same race spouses.

The narrator was another let down as he reads the whole story in a dull monotone, no emotion, no excitement, no feeling. We might as well be listening to someone reading the minutes of a boring meeting or a financial report. It certainly doesn't pull the listener in and anyone expecting to be aroused will suffer the disappointment of a dull lifeless performance.
