About this listen

Syl has conquered the forest, survived goblin treachery, and infiltrated a town, disguised as an elf.

Now Syl has set their sights upon the next big goal—conquer a flying island!

Pegasus, harpies, ghouls and tricky pixies abound, all as Syl hunts for the elusive yellow slime.

The allure of Lightning is too great, and Syl will stop at nothing to add the yellow core to their ever growing collection.

What other secrets lie in wait for the slimy hero on this unexplored land?

I love Syl, I'm up to date with patron, and this book delivered what was expected with solid editing choices.

However the voice choice for Ian had me switching to the Kindle version for the duration of his time.

all in all, brilliant book, (mostly) well voiced and looking forward to the next one.

Excellent story, interesting narration choice.

I gave the previous installment a pretty bad review, I wasn't too impressed, this one is better, I feel its built on its strengths and limited what didn't work well.

better than the previous

I love everything about it the growth, the world, how the character evolved through this story just hope it’s not one of those where the star dies because she becomes too strong and hate the error thing

Can’t wait for the next one

A great continuation of the series, a lot of the audio issues in editing that were in book 1 have been sorted for book 2, but there are still a few, the story though was great.

Another amazing book

Only gripes are the odd edits, and annoying ‘bonus chapter’ advert the publisher included again (at least it was only half an hour though, instead of like two hours at the end of the last book!)

Easy listening and fun story
