Story
By all accounts, Simon Basset is on the verge of proposing to his best friend's sister - the lovely and almost-on-the-shelf - Daphne Bridgerton. But the two of them know the truth - it's all an elaborate ruse to keep Simon free from marriage-minded society mothers. And as for Daphne, surely she will attract some worthy suitors now that it seems a duke has declared her desirable. I chose the short version. Crap!!!
I used my free one and downloaded the wrong book dang it I’m so mad at myself can’t believe I did that. I am definitely looking forward to reading the complete book so far I love all the books in the series and I don’t have any doubts that this one will be different but buying the shortened version makes me not wanna read it.

This was the worst read book I have ever bought. I wish I could get my money back because I just can't listen to another cd. I don't know the name of the reader but she should Never read the part of a man.
Sherryl Woods can get a better one next time. Sorry.
