Summary

There are some things that a group of gracious ladies just can't overlook - and doing one of their friends dirty is at the top of the list. That's the mission of the Sisterhood, seven women who would do anything to help out one of their clan, especially when it means righting a wrong. And Isabelle Flanders has definitely been done wrong.

Her former colleague, the conniving Rosemary, did everything in her power to ruin Isabelle, from framing her for a terrible drunk driving accident to stealing her husband and her architecture firm. Now, Isabelle's formerly lovely life is in tatters while Rosemary scoops up the spoils. It's enough to make any friend's blood boil. Rosemary may think she's flying high, but she's about to tangle with the Sisterhood. And when the Sisterhood is on the case, revenge is swift, delicious, and oh-so-sweet...

Entertaining

Very well written, entertaining and fast-paced as usual, but Rosemary's mental breakdown happens a little too easily to be believable. Still a very good listen, though.

Outstanding narration!

Sweet Revenge: Revenge of the Sisterhood #5 by Fern Michaels, narrated by Laural Merlington is one of my favorite series. I have only listened to the audiobooks, mainly because the narration is amazing! I still cannot believe Laural Merlington is really only one person....wow! I highly recommend readers start at the beginning of the series to get an understanding of how and why the Sisterhood was formed. These books are outstanding, and I am highly confident you will thoroughly enjoy them. 5/5 stars across the board!

Thank you for reading my review. I hope it was helpful. Happy listening! :-)

Couldn't stop playing the audio until it was done playing, a lot of late nights! Can't wait for the next book, thank you for the sisterhood series.

So Much Fun

I love this series, it is so much fun to listen to a group of women getting revenge on the people who have wronged them and ruined their live. It is a nice fantasy. The story is almost believable just because Charles has so pretty far fetched connections. The Narration is done well, with one exception, I don't think Myra needs to be portrayed in such an elderly sounding voice. Otherwise it is a pleasure to listen to.

really good

the story seemed a little short, but everything was solved at the end. there were a few loose ends that I wondered about but they are usually addressed at the beginning of the next book in the series. I feel obligated to read them all in order.

disappointing

This series has great characters and a very good narrator but it is getting more and more into revenge and doing things to people that I don't find necessary. In this book, discrediting the woman, having her husband leave her and her business go downhill would have satisfied the premise but they went out of their way to do some nasty things. Two books ago they flayed a man. They could have disappeared him or thoroughly discredited him instead. I think their morals are being compromised more and more.
Sad as I do like the people involved and their out of the box thinking.
