As of all Milly Jonhson’s novels, this one is a perfect 10. The little twists are predictable but still the story is very much engaging.
Colleen Prendergast is, of course, the best narrator to fully complement Ms Johnson’s stories.

Love all of Millie Johnsons books, such good stories with believable characters.
A word of warning though, this story can be triggering for DV.
Love how it’s written and spoken in true “Yorkshire”

Wow what a brilliant book . Everything about it was perfect , from the story , the characters to the narrator. The cover is pretty , but totally gives the impression of a light hearted read. This was more like a drama, with such a good twist I didn't see coming! Milly Johnsons women are real with fears and weaknesses just like all of us. Didn't want to press stop.
I've become a huge fan of her books since joining Audible , great to make work go quicker. You will probably shout at Stell, but that's what a good story does .

Really enjoyed the story, but it bought back a few memories of a relationship that was similar … but loved the story and also made me realise how lucky I was to escape .. would like there to be a follow up book to read
