Very good story, up to Jane Green’s very high standards, so very enjoyable. As others have said, narration wasn’t great - she is a very good writer, but not a great narrator. However, I found that if I increased the playback to 1.2 x it sounded much better, as she narrates too slowly.

I have followed and read / listened to all of your books, but i just cant get along with Jane narrating herself, please think about changing this for future projects. Anyway about the story, i thoroughly enjoyed it, loving the characters and the storyline, Jane always manages to make you smile, feel sad at times and the characters seem like friends

I really enjoyed this book but nearly Stopped listening as couldn't bear the veery slooow way jane green enunciates. Positively painful. Pay someone else to read it for you next time! Good story, despite that, albeit somewhat predicable.

I don't know why I like Jane Green books so much but I do. Predictable storylines and cartoonish characters but somehow her writing is really engaging. This one is a good example
