Summary

Demon Accords, book 13.

Faced with writing college papers, prepping for tests, and teaching testy witches, Declan O'Carroll has enough on his plate. Not to mention the magical withdrawal of leaving his very own magical kingdom behind on Fairie. But when he and his friends are attacked from creatures out of folklore and fable, it seems the Queens of Summer and Winter aren't done with him yet. But if they're so eager to mess with Earth, maybe it's time to Earth came to them. After all, he's got some lessons to teach.

despite some fantastic moments, i didn't like it.

there were some great moments, but the progression of the story is ruined by 1 scene involving declan and crup. we're supposed to believe crup, an fbi detextive would actually tell declan, to his face, with chris and the gang nearby, that she'll shoot stacia. she also threatened him, her agents shot sose and basically jgnored the hammer of god roght infront of them, telling them to stop? nonsense. nobody that stupid would survive to this point.

given all that, declan disables them with a mild ground quake, chris dangles crup from his hand and then turns on declan for having some lightning in his hand? wtf.

so when crup reaches for a possible weapon behind her back, declan stays on guard.

that situation is apparently declan being crayz? wtf are you talking about conroe?
on top od all that even Omega says declan was acting irrational. seriously?!

apart from that cluster F of a scene, the story was ok.

OK Story, rubbish accents

The narrator really needs to hear some non-american accents.

His Irish is an American caricature of an accent - I keep expecting Leprechauns and pots of gold, begorrah!

His Welsh and English accents are a bigger joke.

His Australian accent sounts like a South African with A speech impediment.

Quite frankly, it distracts from the story.

Great payoff from all the other books and more

Enjoyed the story. Loved the advances in magic.
Otherwise great voice performance, apart from the Welsh accent.

Great story

I’ve listened to all of the demon accords stories which has been a lovely way to revisit these stories. Hearing them narrated has brought them to life in a different way. I also know how to pronounce CAECO. This book brings Declan and Chris closer together without the character hopping of the previous nook.
Although I really rate James Patrick Cronin, he doesn’t do British regional accents. In fact they are hilarious and weird but to me it’s part of the overall charm

Yes!!

I honestly don't know about other people but I really enjoy these books.
The story, the detail, the way the author describes everything is simply amazing and with this narrator it is even better, it brings out a vivid picture and I love it.

Enjoyable and easy to listen to.

Loved the story and whilst it's not Shakespeare, it's non the less, thoroughly enjoyable.

Loved this series

Loved this series. Its even better how the narrator gives a voice to each character and you really feel all emotions from his voices, joy, sadness, humor, this has lead me to by the rest of this series and lots more books the narrator does.
