Summary

In Rich Dad Poor Dad, the author - Robert Kiyosaki - describes being raised by two dads. One was his real dad - the other was his best friend's dad (who acted as a dad for him).

This guide will help lead you through the six lessons he learned from his rich dad on how to be wealthy.

These lessons include:

  • The rich don't work for money
  • The rich invent money
  • The history of taxes
  • The power of corporations
  • And so much more!

Mr. Kiyosaki stresses he is not recommending you follow every step he took to the letter. He simply makes some suggestions that got him to where he is - and could possibly help you.

Best Motivated Speech...!!!

This book teaches you more on how to think to get rich and when combined with others, it is very helpful. I've already started looking at my job and products differently. Great book.

Great resource.

I really enjoyed listening this book. It has a story, not just principles stated. It will inspire you, I definitely think now that everyone should improve their "financial literacy" and gain basic selling skills.

Very Practical book.

Great book to get basics down on financial freedom. Easy listen for beginners, would recommend to all people interested in "getting out of rat race."

Fantastic Book!

This is the kind of listening that should be assigned to high school students through the summer listening courses other than the "novels" that may be great reads, but do not benefit students in any way possible.

Clear summaries and analysis,excellent discussion.

The book is easy to listen, and the message is clear. What I like the most is that it doesn't give you a secret formula, a snake oil recipe or silver bullet, but instead go down to basics. I loved the book .

Wonderful.

I recommend it for everyone to listen it, because the book approaches from an angle that many of us never see. All minute details aside, the book gives the reader a good point of view in finances, which makes a huge impact in our lives.

This book has grabbed my attention.

I just finished this eye-opening, concise, clear read. Being a physician, his message rings true. I'm currently in the Rat-race looking for guidance and structure to minimize my dependence on the traditional system of earned income as a result of sub-specialized education and training. This book has grabbed my attention.

Knowledge is power.

This book should be in every home. It's nice to have degrees, but there are many essential things that are not discussed in a classroom. I read it and have given it as gifts several times. Knowledge is power.

MUST LISTEN!

Excellent transaction, condition of the book as described. Arrived sooner than expected. The book is ok, not the type of book I would usually read. In talking about finances one do not expect a story.

Improve your current self.

It was eye opening. The author has a way of presenting in a nice and simple way. Even if you don't have the guts to take his advice you can walk away with some wisdom and tips to improve your current self.

Wonderful summary.

A good way to realize the necessity of financial freedom. This book could easily serve as the stepping stone to start thinking about financial freedom. I would really appreciate if it touched based a bit more on how to save on ridiculous amount of taxes.

This is an ENLIGHTENING listen.

This is probably my favorite book of all time. It taught me to think differently. It really breaks down the difference between assets and liabilities and how true wealth is defined.

Informative and very inspiring.

This year I have committed to learning more about how money works. This is a great book to sping board your ideas and start those wheels churning on next steps like what to read next. I think the investing book in this series is next on my list.

Awsome.

If you're a financially-oriented personal already, this book may be 'nothing new', but for someone like me who has never paid attention to how people make/keep/invest money, I found it super easy to understand-- and though it didn't blow my mind, it motivated me to learn more from other, more detailed sources.

Well summarized.

This book is timeless in that its principles and ideas can be applied universally. However, there is something that I find troubling about some of his teachings. On one hand he states that he does not advocate debt, but on the other hand, he seems to advocate borrowing money to take advantage of financial opportunities.
