Most definitely changed my life!

This book is just delightful! The longer you listen, the more you realize that the author fell in love with Leonardo the more he wrote about him and as he got to know him better - and he makes the reader fall in love with Leonardo too. Leonardo's curiosity is deep and constant.

Great Listen.

Very concise research on da Vinci. It was interesting how, at a young age, was encouraged to study all of life in order to become the complete artist, scientist and inventor. Excellent work.

Enjoy listen.

Good information about one of the most influential Renaissance thinkers, sculptors, painters and inventors. His mind was going so fast and filled with so many ideas that he had trouble focusing on the current project.

Nice Book!

Leonardo's personality emerges in a far more convincing way in this book than in other biographies of him I have seen in earlier years. His discoveries in physics were particularly impressive, and since he never published anything, they had to be painstakingly rediscovered 100 or even 200 years later. I enjoyed the inside (and often intimate) look at a unique genius, and this book makes me realize more than ever just how unique he was.

Good overview.

The book is large but filled with information that carries you along through the life of Leonardo, from his boyhood and apprentice days, until his time of most profound creativity.

Very good book!

A comprehensive biography of a fascinating man. Isaacson’s clear, lucid, prose manages to portray the man and his near-infinite number of interests without becoming tedious or repetitive.

Overall best.

da Vinci was an extraordinary person and Isaacson does a great job of telling this story. A lot went on in da Vinci's life and this story is memorable. Every time I see a woodpecker I think of daVinci!

Extremely well done.

Extremely well done. Written from a little different perspective than most biographies, but after all Leonardo was unique to say the least

Absolutely inspiration.

I was surprised to learn about his personal habit of procrastinating .I truly enjoyed this book although I have not artistic ability. It improved my appreciation of what others have done.

MUST BE LISTEN!

This is concise but good introduction into the life of one of history's most talented artists and one of its most mysterious and scientific minds. The hyperlinks contained in this e-book edition provide the opportunity to dig a little further.
