About this listen
When it comes to jobs in hell, being a succubus seems pretty glamorous. A girl can be anything she wants, the wardrobe is killer, and mortal men will do anything just for a touch. Granted, they often pay with their souls, but why get technical?
But Seattle succubus Georgina Kincaid's life is far less exotic. At least there's her day job at a local bookstore - free books; all the white chocolate mochas she can drink; and easy access to best-selling, sexy writer, Seth Mortensen, a.k.a. He Whom She Would Give Anything to Touch but Can't.
But dreaming about Seth will have to wait. Something wicked is at work in Seattle's demon underground. And for once, all of her hot charms and drop-dead one-liners won't help because Georgina's about to discover there are some creatures out there that both heaven and hell want to deny....

Weird I know, so here are the basics
FMC is called Georgia, she's a Succubus and centuries old. She was born a human and the back story of how she came to be is not glossy. She works under arch demon for the area but also has her human looking life, working as a book store assistant manager. The characters around her, Warren the owner, married and a top up, her colleagues like Doug, the friends who are all immortal and they do things like dance classes and hanging out in bars. All normal in just day to day life. Then there's the love interests, and well all the characters are well built and it's nice to read about them.
Then there's the storyline in this book, its not a boring storyline, but its not exciting enough for me. Someone is killing immortals and our FMC starts to get involve trying to work out the truth. I don't know, maybe im use to indications of more to come for the character. But it seems the main goal is just what she wanted when human. Nothing very powerful or supernatural besides the danger plot...
There is spice, cosiness, action, some smut but not exactly clutch pearls type.
I think this would be an okay book and series to read if you don't mind the simple dimension plot, and but with great characters.
Georgina, Seth, Roman, even Carter and Pete are all great characters... maybe I'm just not feeling their path and obvious outcome, maybe this is series I need to be in the mood for...maybe I'm spoilt from angst, world ending danger, Gods and Goddesses, MMCs with unknown within... maybe that comes in later series, although the blubs i read didn't indicate it. I just know I didn't mind closing the book and going to sleep, I didn't feel a need for more of this world just the cosiness of the characters...
oh well for me, 3.5 stars, because its a good book, just not for me right now
Not a bad book, just not feeling it
