Summary

Sydney finds more than she bargained for when she gets lost on her way to report for a new job and finds herself at a lifestyle club. Peering in through the window, her attention - and libido - are both snagged by a man delivering some old-fashioned discipline to a young blonde. After he runs Sydney off, both are surprised to discover she is the new chef he’s hired for his ranch.

Caden wanted to turn away the cheeky woman he’d caught spying on his club without remorse, but desperation for a chef forced his hand. Sydney proves to be a definite asset to his employees and a royal pain in his butt. Somehow, her penchant for getting lost and landing in trouble, along with her determination to return to the club as a guest, soon slide past his resistance.

It takes a threat to Sydney and unearthing the truth about what made her flee her home in Missouri to force them both to admit their feelings and get her to stay as more than his chef.

This contemporary Western romance contains themes of mystery, suspense, power exchange, and ménage elements and is intended for mature audiences.

Choose something else.

I struggled to finish this SHORT story ! The story was unbelievable and the characters very stereotypical. The narraction was very stilted. I will give the author and narrator another chance before i put them on my blacklist.

As fun as the ebook

I’ve read the story and liked it and was curious about the audiobook. Since it was included in the Audible Plus Catalogue I couldn’t resist. The story still is fun, even a second time, although it lacks depth in my opinion. Nathalie Bradshaw is a very professional narrator, although she couldn’t infuse more texture to the story either.

Narrator can't do a man's voice well

Made me cringe every time she did a man's voice. But I liked the story.

it was ok

I finished it but it seemed corny to me at times. the narrator was new to me but she was ok. I think it was the writing than the narrating.

Just horrible

From the bad writing, poor use of body parts during sexy times ( buttock, buttocks, labia, penis, mons pubis), bass narrator, over enunciating words and making male characters sound feminine etc. I couldn’t make it past chapter 4. This author has no idea how to describe male and female bodies whether during sexy time or not. This was bad and this author could use a lesson in better writing techniques. Don’t waste your time or credit

Fun Read

Fans of BDSM erotica will love those aspects of the story. It's not bad overall, I only had a problem with the heroine's reason for being on the run. It was beyond stupid, even for someone young. If you can get past that, this is a fun, naughty short listen.

The story was fine for its genre

The story is fine for the genre if a little repetitive because of the lack of story. It is erotica but i like reading a story to go with it otherwise I actually get bored. The female lead is too stupid to live some of the dialogue was funny. She acted childish. The narrator was not that great she sounded somewhat robotic but she made me laugh so hard when she did the male voices she made them sound like old men!! Hahahaha! Every time one of the men’s voices were imitated I was laughing so hard it made the story entertaining. I had my husband listen to the voices he thought it was funny too. The female voice imitation wasn’t that different then the regular narration. I will read another from the author to see what happens with the cop he seems interesting.
