Summary

In the penultimate novel of the Talon Pack series from The New York Times best-selling author Carrie Ann Ryan, an Enforcer must make the ultimate choice when it comes to a human woman with a secret she doesn't know she holds.

Kameron Brentwood has only one thing on his mind: defeating the enemy. He doesn't have time for a human woman who sets his teeth on edge and makes his wolf prowl. It shouldn't matter that she's his mate because he's always thought that mating is a distraction. Yet as soon as he gets to know the woman, he figures out that there's no hiding from the attraction he feels for her.

Dhanielle Coburn has always been on the outside looking in when it comes to the Talon Pack, but she's not about to let fate and the moon goddess decide her path for her. If and when she takes Kameron as a mate, it will be her choice. Yet when she suddenly finds herself in the Pack's inner sanctum, deeper than she ever thought possible, she has to fight not only her need for the man in front of her but also a hidden secret about her family she didn't even know she had.

When the choice is pulled from both of their hands, the two will need to learn who they are apart, and who they can be together. Because there's more to mating than a mark and a prophecy that has come back to haunt them. And even though they may be fated, the ultimate sacrifice just might take them both in the end.

.One of the best Talon Pack stories

Strength Enduring was one of the better Talon Pack stories. Dhani just got to me. She was bold, strong and not going to wait in the wings for Kam. Kam was an idiot! He was thinking like an over protective alpha male. To say that things were not smooth sailing for either of them is a bit of an understatement. But they were able to lean on each other, and we were able to see how others gathered their own support to act in the best way for the pack. Plenty of action that will want you listening to more of the Talon Pack.

I had previously read the book and already expected this from the story. And yet, listening to it Aiden Snow just brought it home even more. His flow strengthened what Dhani and Kam were going through. While the story was written that Dhani and Kam made each other and the pack “Strength Enduring”, Aiden wove the point home with his narration.

Intense Hot Read!

I love Kameron's dedication and protectiveness with his pack. The hot sexy growling enforcer reminds me of my husband such a grotch but sexy. With the stress of protecting the back I can see why he is a bit tense. He loves his pack and being a wolf.

I was excited to see him paired with Dhanielle she is such a strong woman. She sets Kameron on fire and he doesn't know what to do with himself. I feel for Dhani loosing her job and uprooting herself to move into the den.

Their sex scenes are hot and steamy! The building tension between the Aspens and Talons grows making me want to know how its all going to end even more. I hate Blade! Great read.

Sacrifice begets sacrifice

Sacrifice begets sacrifice. I will never forget this line in this book. This book is all about sacrifices. First the grandmother who bound the powers of her loved ones so they wouldn't have to live in the world she was living in. Then Dhani losing her job and apartment. Then knowing your mate is right there, but he won't admit it or act on it. And finally, protecting your mate with powers you don't understand.

This story was sad, but there is hope. Kam and Dhani found each other and became mates. I'm looking forward to seeing how she develops as a character within the pack. Kam softened some with Dhani and is super protective of her. Seeing them with children will be enlightening.

Aiden Snow was the perfect narrator for this book. His voice made you feel like you were in the pack with the wolves and in the fight between the Aspens and Talons. His portrayal of Kam was spot on and I was able to picture him in his brooding moments, in his tender moments and in his downright peeved moments. Kudos Mr. Snow. I'm looking forward to listening to more books by you.

good book

I'm late and new to this series but this was a great book that I could not get enough of once I started it. Kameron and Dhani's story was well written and action packed. The chemistry between the pair was off the charts with a few twists that I did not see coming. The narration of the audio book by Aiden Snow was performed well and was enjoyable to listen to. He did a good job bringing the story to life.

Kam and Dhani

I am a latecomer to this series having only recently read the first book Tattered Loyalties, but what can I say - I loved this book. I really found myself totally immersed in this story, the writing style, and the characterization is just so very, very good. Although I might have found it easier placing everyone if I had listened to the preceding book?

Kameron “Kam” is such a strong character and he has always put himself second to his loyalties to the Pack. Danielle, Dhani Coburn, an elementary school teacher who has always felt like an outsider, her character was not as easy to know, maybe because I hadn’t listened to the other books, but I liked her and I liked that she was so strong and had such a depth of character, she’s not a shifter which just added another layer to the story.

She has lived in a cabin near to his for quite some time, they have both been fighting the attraction they both feel for different reasons but when circumstances change and they give in to it - wow! But when the newly mated Dhani and Kam are attacked we learned that there was a traitor among them and when the culprit was finally discovered, the betrayal they all felt, the Talons and the Redwoods, was heartbreaking.

The attraction, the chemistry and the interchanges between Kam and Dhani are so well done. Their chemistry was palpable, there were so much drama and intrigue which added to the overall tension and feelings of excitement raised.

The narration of this book by Aiden Snow was excellent, each character and situation was brought to life beautifully and after listening to this book I now want to go back to the early books and find out more about the other characters in this story.

I was given a copy of this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

Kameron Amazing!!

This is the eighth book in the Talon Pack Series. This is Kameron and Dhani’s story. Kameron is the Enforcer of the Talon Pack meaning it’s his job to protect his family, friends and pack and nothing else matters. He has no time for anything else, there is too many complications and problems they are facing and finding out that Dhani is his potential mate is just another issue he doesn’t have time for and doesn’t need. Dhani is friends with shifters in the Talon pack and plans on being around even if it means dealing with a grumpy enforcer that she can’t seem to avoid.

Overall it flows seamlessly and has a great storyline that is a page turner and I couldn’t get enough of and I loved Kameron and Dhani’s story! Highly recommend this book to anyone.

Kam ♥️

Kam, as the enforcer of the Talon Pack, has to keep it safe from any danger specially from Blade who has it in for the pack.
Dhani is a human... maybe more and after being harassed for liking the wolves she moves in with the pack as a teacher.
Kam and Dhani are mates but Kam is too scared for Dhani and too obsessed with Blade to do anything about it until the choice is taken from them both.
There’s is romance, hotness and much turmoil in the pack. It’s an amazing story and I was hooked from the prologue til the very end. But is it really the end?? I can’t wait for the finale of this series.
Aiden Snow is a great narrator. Sexy voice 👌

Strength Enduring

This is the first audio I've listened to by Aiden Snow, and he does such a great job. Both with making sure the characters are distinguishable as well as with the emotion and inflection.

I thought this was such a great read. I am a fan of Carrie Ann Ryan books, and have read most everything she has put out. I've never really been into the shifter type stories but I really enjoyed this one. I haven't read the previous books in this series (or if I have its been a while and I've forgotten) so I was a little lost in a few spots. I would suggest reading the other books in the series first, but I was able to keep up. I loved Kameron & Dhani's characters and how their relationship progressed. Dhani is really upfront and blunt with Kameron. Kameron is very protective of his pack and doesn't feel like he has time for a mate, but isn't really gonna have his way. Great read!

Another Great Listen!

I loved this installment! Dhani has a kick butt attitude and doesn't stand for people putting other people down or treating them less than they deserve. But there is so much more to her and she is one of the strongest women because she will give up everything for someone she cares about. Kameron is a man who doesn't realize that he can be the enforcer but also be allowed to have a family and be happy. They are perfect for each other. They have chemistry but they also have the heart and will to stand up for not only each other but for their family and what is right. I loved every bit of this one! The narrator is great and wasn't distracting with any weird accents or anything like that. I really enjoyed how it was read along with the story itself.

Wasn’t sure about Joe Arden but loved home in end

Book 8 in Talon Pack series by Carrie Ann Ryan
Kameron is the Talon Pack enforcer and responsible for protecting the whole pack.
Dhanielle is a school teacher that has been connected to the Talon Pack by her bff who was turned into a shifter and became a member.
Both know that they have something sparking between them but neither can admit it until Dhani confronts Kam but instead of denying it Kam wants more time to find there way but to also try a protect her and pack.
You know there’s a secret about Dhanielle but you don’t get to find out what it is until right at end of book but I think has a real opportunity to be developed more and explained because it felt just slightly rushed at the end
This book even though has fights and explosions does feel like a slower paced book that develops the relationship well and makes it feel very solid instead of wham bam kind of feel.
I have to say I wasn’t a fan of the narrator to start with. I felt he was to deep voice to get fully invested in the female side of story but I grew to absolutely loving the way he expressed the character and got the story across. Definitely a winner for me
Really love that book Redwood and Talon Pack are very much intermingled and old characters pop up in this book. Looking forward to more hope Alpha Blade gets what coming to him.
