Found myself hating Ant from early on in the story. Manipulative, I scheming rat! And I was so right in my suspicions of him. Cass, I the beautiful, trusting, needy woman, and spurned by her ex in such betrayal, and blames herself. Determines to do EVERYTHING necessary, to obey and surrender her body to his debauchery demands. Geer, her gallant knight, waits in the wings to rescue her. Great story, well narrated.

Coersion & Abuse wrapped up in love and devotion. A dangerous mix!

From the moment Cas met “Mr Perfect” it became disturbing. The character is an absolute psychopath and manipulative control freak. No surprise he’d struggled to find a soul mate. Jade certainly is the queen of smut!

This book truly was something else. So dark and vile, that there were times, when listening to it was almost painful. Still the book was very well written. The emotions felt real and the decisions, even all the wrong ones, made sence.

Should have trigger warnings on it, though. I would think that people with history of sexual violence might find it triggering.

This is a very raunchy book, not the best written but enjoyable - took a while to finish as i got a bit bored during.

I love a bit of a saucy read and I don’t mind if it’s pretty explicit however this book is not a book that gave me tingles! I would say that if you’d describe a lot of saucy books as chic flick style this is more like a documentary into the sex trade style. I did finish it but at times I took a break because I found it quite hard going and at one point I was in tears during a sex scene which has never happened before. As always with Jade West it was well written and the story was good even if then ending was a bit grim. The narrators were both very good.
