AT THE EDGE OF CHAOS, ONE GEEK STANDS TALL.

My name’s Bill Ryder. Five years ago, I helped banish magic and monsters to the shadows. I thought it was over, that I was finished with all that supernatural crap. Turns out I was dead wrong.

Now the impossible has happened. My goddaughter is conjuring fireballs, I’m seeing ghosts, and two vampires have shown up at my doorstep looking to kick my ass.

Seems a group of deranged wizards are hell-bent on reopening the doorway between worlds, once more unleashing unspeakable horrors upon humanity, and they think I hold the secret for how to make it happen.

Too bad stopping them will be easier said than done. I'm not a vampire anymore. I'm not anything! I'm just a normal guy living a normal life, facing a seriously abnormal problem. But I need to somehow find a way to end this madness, because otherwise shit's about to get surreal—again.

If you liked the original series, you'll like this too. Bill's back, crude and rude as always. All the old cast are back and ready to throw themselves into insanity again. Great stuff.

Another Winner

The book is very slow in setting up the story
if i had not engaged with the characters from the previous books i would of stopped listening
gets better when the action starts but did not leave me wanting more like the first series
hope the next one improves

Very slow start

I read the first series of books and thought they were original, engaging and funny. Maybe it's the transition to Audible but I did not find this at all enjoyable. The characters on the periphery such as Tom and Dave were gratingly irritating. I won't be buying the next book in the series.

A disappointment
