This is something that really works

Suffered from shyness and social anxiety for much of my teenage and adult life and i have tried everything from hypnosis to numerous books. This one was different. It had actual advice I could follow. Am i totally cured? No of course not, it is not that simple but i am a LOT better and feel i get better every single day. Narration was good but at times her voice could be a tad irritating.

Fantastic book

This is a fantastic book for getting started on social skills. This is not your usual learning how to make conversation book. The author writes simply and is very encouraging. I now have a better understanding of conversational skills and am putting to use what I learned here. My only complaint is that this book, as well as many others I have read lately, needs better proofreading! Years ago you never saw mistakes in a book. Now I find mistakes all the time. What's going on?

Knowledge is power

The focus, as always in his books is on practical exercises and techniques, rather than excessive theory or demonstrations of how clever and outstanding the author is. This is definitely a necessary, go-to manual for any kind of self-development work, whether you are a beginner or highly advanced in that area.

Great tool

This a great tool to add to your arsenal of beat practice. the world around us can feed us the wrong information. Yet, this audio tool is a reminder how we need to plug into the right sources of information we feed our subconscious.

I really like this book. It has helped me a lot.

I really like this book. It has helped me a lot. This is the first self help type of book I’ve bought and it’s just the kick up the bum that I need to stop people pleasing and doing what I think people want. It’s made me more focused to change my life for the better and make decisions based on my wants and needs rather than other people’s.

Too Basic

I couldn't get through the book. Not because of narrator which was pleasant but the content. You must be living in a rock or have zero social skills to find it useful.

I really benefited to listen this audible.

The author explains everything well, starts off my explaining how to understand difficult people, how to handle difficult people, how to identify them and how to deal with different kind of people. This audible tells you the things you should and shouldn't do to guide you.

Love yourself with this audiobook.

I purchased the book spontaneously dependent on the title. There were times when I was unable to put it down in light of the fact that such countless sections portrayed who I've been previously. I took in a ton from this book and I realize it will help each and every individual who can't deny others.

Thanks to this audiobook.

After I listened to this book, I learned a lot and came to realize something. I admit that I am a people pleaser and I can not really stop asking for favors from anyone, I do not feel that they can not always help me or do me a favor. Now I know my limitations in asking for favors from other people.

Love this with its cool content.

I would absolutely recommend this book to anyone who currently, or has in the past found it difficult to say NO to people. If I could go back to my 20-something self and read a book like this, I would be much further ahead in life.
