Long lists and no supporting evidence

This book makes no attempt a providing supporting evidence, and is a long list of negative traits with relatively few suggestions for improvements. Feels incrediblely subjective, and is all opinion.

Not sure shaming people out of it is the solution.

Great Book for newbie also!

I had listened to another book on this topic several years ago! But in this book, I had found something new and definitely its extraordinary book than the other book and it helped me realize how a person tends to ruminate, to own detriment. So I will suggest this for my two friends & hope that it will help them also.

Helpful Guide

First of all, let me start off by saying I'm not really a fan of self-help, self-improvement books. However, this book was an exception. I can say without hesitation that it helped me recalibrate the way I think about things and has helped me learn how to cope with a number of challenges I face. Thanks to the author.

DO NOT BUY THIS BOOK

This author only knows enough to be dangerous. This book is very poorly written and even more poorly narrated. While there are some accurate statements about overthinking throughout, it is largely gross generalization. As someone with OCD a heavy ruminator myself, I found this book painfully annoying and untrue. A better, more helpful source would be Overcoming Unwanted Intrusive Thoughts by Winston and Seif.
