really pleased with it
This audio book is fantastic. After just one night I stopped craving sugar and started craving exercise. Have used it for one week and feel so different already. Definitely would recommend.

Shame about the music
I respond well to hypnotherapy so this worked for the first few goes when I was very tired and slept deeply through the whole thing. The next day, it seemed to make a subtle difference though will power is still required.
Unfortunately, when not completely out for the count and the slightest bit conscious, the plinky plonky muzak is irritating. The whale noises are too frantic and overcrowded, like listening to a cetacean stock market floor with them all screaming at each other simultaneously. The whale song equivalent of thrash metal.

Background music nightmares
The initial part of the audiobook is very good and very relaxing.
The problem is at the end of the session... I tried to listen to the full audiobook twice while sleeping and both times I woke up in panic as if I was being attacked in the middle of the sea. The second time I dreamed I was having a fight with giant crabs on an isolated island. Then, I decided to hear the tracks during the day and found the final track back ground music very creepy. So, unfortunately this one did not work for me.
I have few other audiobooks from the same author and they are fine. Hence, I believe the choice of background music can affect the whole experience when doing self hypnosis.
