Stoicism: The Art of Creating Small Changes for Life Long Habits of Self Discipline, Mental Toughness, Productivity and Mastering Confidence, Jealousy and Anger Management
Summary
The Stoic philosophy involves incorporating powerful practices to cope with the ever-evolving challenges of today’s world. It is all about overcoming destructive emotions and developing moral virtues that help us become better human beings. This audiobook focuses on easy, practical ways to develop the virtues of self-discipline, mental toughness, confidence, and productivity and finally managing jealousy and anger. These traits can help us have control over our actions, thoughts, and feelings in an unpredictable world.
Stoicism is not just developing these virtues, but it’s about making them a way of life - practicing them every day. Such a permanent change cannot happen overnight. As a result of years of bad habits, your brain is already wired to work in a certain way; actions and reactions happen subconsciously, that is, without having to think about it. The good news is that small, deliberate changes to your behavior and continuous practice of the same can reverse your mentality.

Quite promising
An inspiring and beautiful guide that harnesses one’s fortitude and improves one’s self-control. The principles and ideas I heard from this sounded like they were not written thousands years ago, but it felt like yesterday. The wisdom I gained from this book is incomparable!
