Summary
I'll be there. Through thick and thin. Ride or die. You can count on me.
The promises people make. The vows we take. Assumptions of the heart. Emotion tells us how we feel, but life...life has a way of plunging us in boiling water, burning away our illusions, testing our faith, trying our convictions. Love floating is a butterfly, but love tested is an anchor.
For Grip and Bristol, love started at the top of the world on a Ferris wheel under the stars, but when that love is tested, will they fly or fall?

Fell in love even more
I really enjoyed the first book but this one is better.
Getting to go through seasons with these characters really got me even more attached to them. Marlon is a special man, hoping some like this actually exist. Truly fell in love with him and the way he loves Bristol. I’ve experienced this kind of love and it such a lovely reminder with all their banter and spicy scenes I was blushing constantly whilst listening.

Wow Amazing Book
Kennedy Ryan you are a suberb author I'm so glad I found you this is the second series I've listened to Your books are excellent so many different topics are covered and well researched. I enjoyed all 3 books in this series but this book was outstanding the best i iisten to this year had me crying, laughing with their spicy banter if ever to people were made to be together it was Marlon and Bristol total soul mates how they had to overcome prejudice by a lot of people. the baby loss was done in such a sensitive manner
just loved Marlons wedding vows STILL what a voice he has Jakobi has Maxine were perfect for each other Bravo highly recommend 👏

Heartbreaking & beautiful
I hated Bris in book 1! But by the end of it I was rooting for this love story! Book 2 was a nice gap filler answering questions and book 3 felt very mature and explorative. Kennedy Ryan tackles baby loss with care and knowledge. Beautiful writer.

Awesome
I couldn’t put this down. I’m so in awe of the two main characters, the love they share is phenomenal. I can relate to some of this storyline and felt Bris’s pain. Narrator’s were spot on. Loved all three of these books but this was is without doubt the best. Well done Kennedy Ryan.

Solid read, deserves all the stars!
If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would. I nearly didn’t listen to this and it would have been the biggest reading regret. Ms Ryan is deserving of all the accolades for her intelligent writing- this story was thought provoking and emotion on every level!
This was everything I didn’t know I needed. Even as a POC minority reader this was eye opening on so many levels. This so much more than an inter-racial romance. It’s an education on societal ills, prejudices, injustices, struggles people face in real life. And it’s hella spicy too!
10/10 story line! Tissues required.
10/10 narration by both narrators!
5 GRIPPING STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
