I really enjoyed this one. Brooks is smitten with Stevie from the get go and shows her nothing but kindness, understanding, patience and love, he is ALL about that woman and shows it throughout. The endometriosis representation in this was done so well but like with all the books in this series the chronic illness/disability representation is always on point and done with honesty and respect. This book deals with and depicts darker themes throughout so keep that in mind. I felt the found family vibes with the Hel's gang in this one that for me had been missing from the last couple of books in the series so that was nice to have back.
I adored Stevies baka and have decided I would like to be her when I grow up... the conflict towards the end (no spoilers) felt a little unnecessary to me as it didn't really do/add anything to the story itself tbh but other than that I really enjoyed this installment of this series, I liked both main characters, the banter and spice was great and Lucy Rivers and Aaron Shedlocks performances on the audiobook were a delight to listen to. I hope we get more from this universe at some point in the future or spin offs of certain characters that we have been introduced to over the course kf the series would be great too.. looking at you Derek's Ranch running brothers & Brooks sisters and buisness partner Greyson. 😊 🌶🌶.5

Stevie is the fifth book in Hel’s Ink OG series. Omg I could not wait for Stevie’s book. Stevie and her grandmother were always my favorite characters. Stevie has had a traumatic past. Her ex-boyfriend put her through mental and physical hell. She has suffered with severe endometriosis. Brooks has been in love with Stevie since she gave him a peach danish. He has been playing a serious long game. He has been waiting for Stevie’s brain to catch up and realize she loves him too. Brooks is one of the sexiest and sweetest MMC I have ever read.
Lucy Rivers and Aaron Shedlock did an incredible job narrating this book in duet style narration.
