I have always enjoyed Heinlein's Sci fi stories but his right wing political theories tend to shine through, hurting the plot in my opinion. Remember this is not the movies which poke fun at his right wing half baked theories, instead Heinlein argues that through military service one becomes a full citizen. His justification is that "it works" so it should not be changed.The Story us enjoyable just ignore the politics.

I was lost in the story such that I hadn't expected. I was compelled by the intention of the political philosophy outside of my own leanings, fascinating journey.
