I really like these shorter adventures! Vader and Mustafar are appropriately terrifying here - Cavan Scott has a flair for leaning into the horrors of the Imperials; the ‘insider view’ of the Empire and its propaganda, from our young protagonists, is a really interesting pov. Thompson’s performances never fail, as per!

That Vader breathing— !!

It's an okay story but doesn't really go anywhere. I think it had a great setup but could of benefited from being a bit longer and bigger in scale and scope. Nothing ground breaking or new but for a short story its a good little read.

Not great but not bad

I couldn’t get into this at all. I really liked ‘Death Troopers’ - finished that and straight away downloaded this but I found the narration so bad. I’m afraid I didn’t finish this book.
