Great listen.

Great listen to a story most of us have all already watched on the big screen originally or simply on the box set. Happy to listen to this and recommend it to anyone who is just listening to the Star Wars stories in chronological order, big thumbs up.

Decent with a few minor issues.....

The overall reading is great, decent sound affects enhancing the story, I really enjoyed it. Though its let down by minor annoying things (one is me bring picky...the other is more valid). 1st miss pronunciation of a significant characters name repeatedly with the 2nd being the intrusion of sound affects over the pod race. Considering how well the sound affects are handled elsewhere it's quite jarring how loud they are during this action scene, with the narrator really being lost to the added effects. Which is why I've marked the book down slightly overall.

Great story telling and great narrating. really enjoyed fro mthe first minute to the last

Background noises suck. Still listenable.

I don't mind the odd laser, splash, or lightsaber noise but the mechanical sounds and musical transistions are a bit much.
