Summary

When Deputy Ken Brody's sweetheart goes missing in the mountains outside Timber Creek, Mattie Cobb and her K-9 partner Robo are called to search. But it's mid-October and a dark snow storm is brewing over the high country. And they're already too late. By the time they find her body, the storm has broken and the snow is coming down hard.
While Brody hikes down to bring back the forensics team and veterinarian Cole Walker gathers supplies to protect them from the storm, Mattie and Robo find themselves alone, guarding the gravesite overnight in the dead of the early winter. Really good story
The story was quite good even if the baddie became evident to me early on. I've heard better narrators but I've also heard much worse. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Another stunner by Mizoshima
Finished this in one reading - interspersed with eating.
My family is threatening to hide my iPhone because Audible is getting much more attention than they are
This book was wonderful. The characters so believable and Nancy Wu’s reading just wonderful.

Another enjoyable story from Mizushima
I have enjoyed how the characters are developing in this series. I’m invested in them! Again it was very well narrated by Wu. I’ll be listening to the next.
