Summary
When Bella finds a dashing homeless man on her doorstep, she invites him into her cottage and into her life. But Isaac's keeping a secret from her, this woman whom he hadn't expected to fall for.
She can't ignore the chemistry between them, but she's had her trust broken before. Will Bella run when she learns the truth, or could he be the man to help her to love again?

Lovely romance
Bella is afraid to trust and afraid to love after her parents dumped her on relatives.
Can the man who has fallen for her, convince bella that he intends to stay with her for ever?

Lovely feel good story
I loved this story though at times I did want to shake the character of Bella and tell her to stop being so stubborn and stupid.
I’ve marked the performance down a star not because it wasn’t as good but because the narrator needs to increase the volume of her voice as I have had to turn the volume up considerably on my car audio system to get this so that I could hear it. I’ve not had this problem with any other audiobook and I listen this way every week day on my commute to work and back. It didn’t spoil my enjoyment of the book but it does need addressing.
All in all an enjoyable book with the feel good factor that I like. I’ve already purchased the next in the series so look forward to listening to that.

Great story.
I listened to this book with England playing France at the World Cup on the TV whilst I was sewing. The book trumped the football easily.
Great narrator.

A little too whiny
Couldn't really connect with the heroine's issue and her constant 'no one loves me' battle. It started well but then got a bit tedious to listen to and way too obvious.

Simple romantic idyll
Easy listening romance. Not a great plot. Some accents a little strange. Overall quite fun.
