Fantastic hypnotherapy ruined by chapter 4
After listening to chapter 1 (audible intro) and chapter 2 (all about the wonders of hypnotherapy) I now go straight to chapter 3 each time to be sent into the most wonderful, peaceful state of mind that Joel Thiekle can put you in.
But then it is all ruined by the system moving on to chapter 4 which is all about the author and thanking you for listening.
I have asked for a way of pausing or stopping the system at the end of chapter 3 but audible experts tell me that is not pkssible on any system.
The effect is to ruin all of the good work that Joel creates as he treats your mind to the most beautiful state of well being and peaceful calm during the actual psychotherapy session of chapter 3.
It would be fantastic if, after purchasing this product, you were allowed to go on line (with a code?) and download just chapter 3 to play on its own each time, so that you could remain in the peaceful and calm state of mind that Joel puts you into. Without being rudely awakened by chapter 4.

It works.
I honestly didn't think this would work, I have tried very expensive hypnosis in the past and because I have PTSD I was told it would not work for me.

Ok. But Audible ruins it at the end making it useless.
At the end of the meditation, when you’re supposed to be asleep, Audible rudely wakes you up with its usual “thank you for listening” ending. Terrible! Completely defeats the purpose, rendering it pretty much useless. Never again will I buy this type of audio from Audible. Completely ridiculous editorial decision.

Great 30 min meditation , ending a bit abrupt
I really enjoy the 30 min of guided meditation/hypnosis but the credits at the end of the book are awkwardly loud and different from J. Thielke's voice through the rest of the experience. I would prefer some simple music after the 30 min of guided meditation so that the sleep that has been encouraged can go on without interruption for author credits. You'll get one good chapter explaining hypnosis, one 30 min well done meditation, one loud "chapter" of author credits. I feel this book suffers from being simply too short and would benefit from ambient noise or music past the 30 min experience. That said, the experience was very well guided and I enjoy the presenter's approach.

I did fall asleep
This recording is very short. I feel I was awake for if not all, most of it. Then fell asleep from being so relaxed.
I could do without the long explanation in the begining. The recording itself is approximately 30mins long. Pretty good, I did sleep.

Very Positive Affirmations
I'm a long time user of hypnosis and I continue to enjoy Joel Thielke's sessions. This one in particular is very uplifting and rejuvenating. Especially if you are spiritual/religious because he allows you to envision an angel/guiding light connecting with you to drain negativity from your mind. I continue to listen to this session and often when times are stressful in my life.

First time is a charm.
This book is intended to be listened to over twenty one days to achieve results, after my first listen I woke up feeling energized and really positive. I was definitely sceptical of the potential validity of this however, I've experienced some initial success. I will continue the entire twenty one days and reevaluate but, so far so good.
