Summary

Magick, Mischief & Kilts!
Contemporary Scottish Paranormal Romance

Charlotte Carver is going insane - suffering with everything from memory loss, to hallucinations, to phantom conversations she can’t recall having. Something tells her it’s not a coincidence that it all started when the MacGregor family moved to town, and the one person who knows what’s going on is the last person Charlotte would ask for help. Her new landlord, Niall MacGregor, is not the most approachable man, but that hasn’t stopped the brooding Scottish biker from invading her dreams.

Motorcycle-riding werewolf Niall MacGregor is the longtime supernatural enforcer for his warlock family. He has regretted more than a few things he’s done in the name of duty, but taking Charlotte’s memories is the biggest. It was necessary, to both protect the family and save Charlotte’s sanity. But the intimate glimpse into her mind has only made him want things he can never have - including the gorgeous, brave woman herself.

When luck finds Charlotte’s memories returning, her attraction to Niall explodes, thrusting her into a magickal world. There is little time to adjust as another of Niall’s past regrets has come back to threaten everything they hold dear.

Warning: Contains yummy, hot, mischievous MacGregors who are almost certainly up to no good on their quest to find true love. And Uncle Raibeart.

Was waiting for this one!

Niall's story is one of my absolute favourites, probably because I love the brooding male protagonist, who just needs a little help loosening up and learning to live on the brighter side of life.

Charlotte on the other hand had a rough go of it since the first book (although this book is a standalone), having had her memories erased over and over, you begin to sympathise with her. So both these characters coming together was truly charming and made a lovely story. Also there is a further complication that both these characters must learn to work through!

Memories A New

When things happen in your life that makes you go a little crazy you deal with it. Unless is something that sends you over the cliff into darkness. A darkness that was meant to keep you safe. In this journey of mind over matter Charlotte proves she is worthy of Love from a McGregor. Enjoy the Journey!
In the beginning there is a lot recapping of Charlottes story to get the reader caught up. It’s a little off putting for those that have followed/read each book in the this series but does not take away from this enjoy love story.

Charlotte's tale

Charlotte had my sympathies and empathy for the results of having her mind wiped.

She's kinda pathetic like a raving lunatic. I also empathized with Niall for all his guilt. Niall at the end of the story was so endearing. His momentary uncertainty and humility was hot. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job with voices, accents, and expressions. Loved it.

Book five in a great series.

Great series. This one has less humor than some of the other books, although the ever clothesless uncle is still running around. The prankster brothers and a whole slew of spirits and supernatural beings are causing trouble. Naill is the serious one in the family. He feels he has the safety of the clan on his shoulders. He also has a history that weighs heavily on him.
Feeling protective of Charlotte and her problems he is torn. He also has other feelings, including that he is not going to find happiness with the woman fated to be his like his brothers.
The history and revelations will fill in many of the blanks for series readers but never fear, it stands alone if this is your first story in the series. You'll get to see the various forms of magick the family display as well as the enemies they fight.
Charlotte is stronger than they think. She's a woman of sass, strength, and has the hots for one certain brother. Will he admit his feelings? Will the protection turn dangerous?
Great plot, wonderful characters, and a story you won't forget.

Great accents!!

The narrator does a fantastic job with this series. I would listen to him anytime. The Scots and British accents as well as American are wonderful.
This series is funny in places but it also brings the idea that families can fight and mess with each other but still be there when needed.
Niall cares for Charlotte but because he has to take her memories, he doesn't fell deserving. What happens when she starts to get them back.

Another great book

Niall finally gets his happily ever after. Charlotte finally gets her wits about her again. This was a great book bring these 2 together finally. Yes I am using the word finally a lot but after 5 books its worth saying a few times. This was a quick listen to book and along the same lines as the other in this series. There is action, love and laughter in this book. Unfortunately Michael can't do female voices that well but other than that great book.
