Summary

Whenever a soldier slides into his BDUs and shoulders an M16, there is another man looking to take both off. Special Forces is set in the heat of battle, where fear, urgency, and uncertainty lead to unexpected intimacy and release. The seasoned authors here, some of whom have served in the military themselves, do not shy away from the hard realities of the fight. They know how anger and terror can fuel desire and attraction.

The collection includes Jack Fritscher's "Wild Blue Yonder", T. Hitman's "To the Victors Go the Spoiled", Simon Sheppard's "Stockhold Syndrome", Jay Starre's "Between Shots Fired", and many more. Special Forces pays homage to the heroic hunks on the frontlines who are always willing to protect and serve their fellow men.

Bears no relation to reality

If this book wasn’t for you, who do you think might enjoy it more?

Sadly for Americans only who have had no connection whatsoever with the military; the story and situations were just very badly written fantasy and technically badly flawed; There is no such thing as a GMPG - it a GPMG (General Purpose Machine Gun); And please - if you can't do accurate accents, don't try - it causes utter confusion in conversations where American characters sublime into English Characters mid-sentence as the performer realises who's supposed to be speaking.

Has Special Forces: Gay Military Erotica put you off other books in this genre?

Absolutely. This was pretty 'pants'.

Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Preston Fitzcharge?

Someone who has read the text and prepared before the recording; oh and can actually do British Accents (note - this book is full of 'Mary Poppins' style accents (Burt). Dreadful.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
