I read this book and thought it was good
* From Zenny, aged 4 years old.
But, seriously, I did read it and it was good, very good, even at 32 years old.
Although the books in this series are short, I have come to ❤️ love them very much.
Their hooks have penetrated my skin and are now thoroughly and deeply entrenched into my psyche.
This book -- like the first -- is a thoroughly entertaining and light read for the reader.
With that said, the consequences of the characters' actions are always clear.
Our MC Merrick is in complete control of his destiny so far, having become favoured by the 🐍 goddess Snake. But now, he must prove that he is worthy.
And this drives our 🦸♂️ MC forwards.
Merrick, his sister and friend all travel together to 🐍Snake's temple where our MC must pass the goddess' trial.
This involves finding his way through a labyrinth, whereby he is presented with the containers of three different liquids that will grant Merrick a different power.
Our MC decides that he's going to gather all three of the liquids into one container and 🫖 drink the lot, giving the blessings of all three cups.
I write these details so as to provide you with the author's inspiration from Aztec or Sumerian culture presented in the book.
Of course, great writing must be backed by great narration and @PeterKennyVoice in this work combines the best of both.
He is the master of characterisation bringing @SethRing's characters to life in vivid detail.
This is a must read for any #LitRPG fans!
