Summary

Time seemed to collapse…There was a sharp stabbing sensation in my stomach…Steve crowed, "Now I have you! Now you're gonna die!"

Dead if he loses - damned if he wins. The time has finally come for Darren to face his arch enemy, Steve Leopard, and fight for control of the night. One of them will die. The other will become the Lord of the Shadows …and destroy the world.

Is the future written, or can Darren trick destiny?

Ending - he must have gotten tired

What disappointed you about Sons of Destiny?

There was no real end to the story. It essentially erased everyting up to the point

What could Darren Shan have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Had a real ending.

What about Ralph Lister’s performance did you like?

He was very good - all characters were real.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

Frustration and disappointment that there was no kind of wrap up - the last couple of paragraphs essentially undid the entire story.

lazy ending

if I had known how badly and unsatisfactory the end would be I would never have listened to this crap.
every book until this one was fun exciting and well written, this book however was not. it's like the writer wrote himself into a corner and decided to end it in a fuck everything let's just end it. what about his sister, debbie and everyone else, I hate this ending and will never listen or read the story again. no wonder his other series is not here on audible, and I have no interest in reading it.

Just like Then

I loved the series when I was a kid. got my niece and nephews into it too. I was so awesome to hear the voices portrayed almost like how I imagined them. the Narrator was awesome. giving a life to each character.

I loved this series and have found that love again with these audiobooks. Thank you.

Loved it, loved it more than I ever expected.

The second book was hard to get through, but after getting past the grief and pain it gets better and better. many things I guessed would happen, and several thing wound up happening that I never would have seen coming. What a good series.

Everything ends

A fiiting final book. The ending isn't what you may expect. it's very bittersweet, but it leaves you wanting more. If it were somehow possible for Shan to continue this world he created I'd certainly be there to read it.

The performance in this audio book by Lister is great as always. They couldn't have picked a better voice for this series.
