Something Terrifying Lurks in Cecilia’s Basement…Or Does It?

Cecilia feels uneasy in her new home.

Something ominous lurks out of sight. Mostly, it stays hidden in the basement. But one night, it calls to Cecilia.

Will Cecilia uncover the truth about the phantom or remain haunted by the mysteries of the basement?

This suspenseful tale will have young listeners on the edge of their seats before demonstrating how illuminating the truth can banish scary imaginings. Children will love following timid Cecilia on her journey from fear to empowerment as she solves the basement mystery and learns sometimes things aren’t as scary as they seem.

Our little girl heroine is scared of the noises coming from the basement of her house and imagines what might be making them. Her older brother does not share these fears or ideas. One day,she is obliged to go into the basement on her own despite thoughts of monsters and scary creatures. Facing her fears reveals the origins of the noises and her fears vanish.

A male voice narrates and sound effects add to the richness of the story experience. I would have given five stars if it had been a female voice narrating.
