I could’ve continued on with this story 20 more years into the characters lives. Loved everything about this book, the writing is beautiful even bringing me to tears at one point. As always the narration from Wesleigh and Jakobi is unmatched. 10/10

I loved how mature and well adjusted the the characters were. I loved how the male character was very well written. he was well aware of his emotions he defended his woman and he knew when she was struggling and asked the right questions when the she was okay. I love that attention to her and her needs. I love the fact that he would ask for consent even in the middle of the lovemaking act. I loved that. I loved how the main character the lady's friends were always there to support her. My favourite thing about it was that the author addressed the results of toxic masculinity without calling it out but just showing how the behavior led to a man losing a very good woman. The best comeuppance I believe was for the side chick she got the man but not the man that she thought she was going to get. Very well written characters with depth. Kudos to the performers as well!

This book takes you on a emotional rollercoaster, the topics of infidelity and the permanent repercussions that ensue. Thank God for happy endings though 😉
