A prime example of clearly fabricated reviews.

Really bad. If I were Audible, I'd be looking into the legitimacy of the reviews on this. I wasted about an hour or so on this before I'd finally had enough. The narrator's voice drives me insane as they bumble their way through, making mistakes in every other sentence, sounding as if it's their very first time reading the book. The content is also very poor and there's absolutely nothing here that you haven't heard before. Don't waste your time on it. I'll be returning it.

Narrator?!

This guy is the worse narrator I have ever heard. It’s as if he’s reading it for the first time. Patronising and clunky. Ich.

Not at all what I was looking for

The first few chapters just sound like a sales pitch for why we should be better communicators, they don’t offer any practice advice. I almost gave up halfway through audible chapter 3 (note this is different from what the narrator calls chapter 3) but thought perhaps I should give it a chance and I skipped to audible chapter 7 and it got a little better but it’s not at all detailed and just reads like a shopping list of tips for improving small talk without actually going into detail. I guess I was hoping for something more in depth. I don’t believe the reviews are genuine. I wish I’d read them properly before purchasing. I thought 200+ 5 star reviews would mean it’s brilliant but now having actually read them I think they’re fake reviews. I haven’t finished and am giving up on this book, it’s not worth any more of my time and certainly wasn’t worth the £6 I spent on the credit to purchase it. Disappointing

Poor quality

The quality of the recording is bad, sounds like someone recorded it with a cheap mic at there house. The reader fumbles withe the words, and the writing sounds awkward read aloud. The first chapter was disclaimer. the second chapter was 20 minutes of listening reasons why communication skills are important, as if I would have purchased this book without thinking that they were. Third chapter starts giving tips such as "imagine yourself as confident" and "other people have problems too". That's when I stopped listening. The quality is poor and the content is weak. I can't recommend this to anyone.
