Diagnosed social anxiety stretches across 20 million adults in the US. That's how long it takes the average person between the time they start observing symptoms to the point in time they are evaluated by a medical professional.

wonderful book!!

An wonderful book! It starts with an honest description of Gary Metcalfe own experience with anxiety and moves into a targeted, constructive plan to battle your own anxiety. A quick and easy read that will encourage a systematic way to tackle your fears. Everyone can use this!

This book is great!!!

This is a great book! Even if you don't think you don't suffer from anxiety it gives great coping skills for multiple life situations. The best was helping to get rid of the "guilt" factor. I applaud the author for making this information so understandable and relatable to so many life experiences.I hope there are more publications to come!

This is a great book for anyone who wants to understand more about anxiety and learn effective techniques for reducing anxiety. Gary Metcalfe is a leader and expert in her field. I recommend her book to many of my therapy clients suffering from anxiety.

highly recommened

I have struggled with anxiety for a long time. I tried medication and hated it. I don't think it began as social anxiety but it became nearly all social anxiety over time. Not being able to meet people and make connections made it even worse as it has really hindered my career. I am very encouraged by the bit deeper of an understanding this book has given me.

great book!!

I suffer from debilitating anxiety and it's been extremely bad the past 9 months. This book is perfect. It's written perfectly and you can tell that the book was intended as a tool to help people with anxiety. I have a few others by different authors and they're junk. I definitely recommend this.

guide book

One of those books about social anxiety that I read and found useful. In the end, it encouraged us not to be depended on pills but on to curing the anxiety naturally through strategies to calm minds. There are 5 specific strategies that the author laid out. I like how easy they are to implement. The big fonts just bothered me a bit.

This is a must have if you have social anxiety. The books helps you acknowledge that you have a problem and what the strategy is to fix it. It makes you want to stop waiting and take action. I highly recommend this book for all of you socially awkward people who need practical real solutions to your social anxiety and shyness.

fake reviews!

This is one of the most amateur books I have ever heard. Notice how he has 25 5star reviews, all posted on the EXCAT same day?? Same as other books by "Gary Metcalfe". Obviously all fake reviews. I hope he gets banned, as this book was an utter waste of time for anyone who really does have social anxiety.

I really loved the book. Social Anxiety is something I am being trying to include in my crafts. This book gives you the foundation to do it. It got me curious about her other books as well. Highly recommended.

excellent book!

Very well audio book! This book should be extremely helpful if you are a beginner in Social Anxiety learning fundamentals learning in Social Anxiety. Would recommended.
