For all that this book tries to introduce the love angle and men very occasionally finding their feminine side, it remains a book aimed at a male readership and a red meat male readership at that. There's very little here for women.
Having said that, it's a good yarn well told and well performed. It's a nice antidote to the droning performances of Lee Child's Jack Reacher books.

The bad guys get punished. Good stuff. Good technical accuracy. Although the T34 tank should be the T55 tank (very very minor niggle).
