About this listen

Soon to be a major TV series produced by Snoop Dogg.

In this fifth book in the IQ series, IQ is back, with the same larger-than-life characters and pulse-pounding action fans love - all leading up to a twist even a genius can't see coming.

Isaiah Quintabe is no longer IQ, the genius of East Long Beach; instead, he’s a man on the road and on the run, hiding in a small Northern California town when his room is broken into by a desperate young man on the trail of the state’s most prolific serial killer.

Loved it from start to finish. Both dark and funny in places. Can't wait for the next book

Great Listen

I love IQ. And this book has a few different threads. But it fleshes out the characters and provides more insight into those on the sidelines to IQ.
And Zeno makes the stories exciting, he really brings them to life. Such a brilliant performer.

Great performance

The performance gets more strident and hyperbolic in lockstep with the increasing implausibility of the plot. Ide should find a new thread.

a series in decline.

Enjoyable and the focus on other characters make it a fuller experience, but it feels like it finishes too soon. That’s normal with a lot of ‘twice a year’ type writers but irritating knowing it’ll be 12 months before you see the story developments bloom.

Solid but something missing

Love the previous books but this one was a step backwards. Nasty subject matter not as well executed as before. Narration far to much shouting and screeching , quite an ordeal to listen to.

Not his best
