Love this series

The writing, characters and narration are great. I continue to be impressed. I am able to really visualize and put myself in this world.

No Commitment to Characters or Storyline.

These books seem to decline as I read on. The characters and the “whites” are becoming more and more addlepated. Zane one minute feels like being with a group and protecting that group and then the next minute he wants to go on a rampage. In book 4 the whites couldn’t swim. Then in book 6 the whites could swim and then they couldn’t. I think the author didn’t commit to the storyline or the characters in the latter books.

Fun chase book

This is a fun action story with some limited character dialogue and a somewhat interesting scientific theory depicting zombies as "infected."

I enjoy these audiobooks because I can tune out for pages at a time without really missing anything and still enjoy the action.

The end for me.

This was a fantastic story that kept going and wanting more. But now the next chapter has jumped a lot in price for audible and there's a different narrator that sounds like he cannot do the characters any justice. Why the change? What's the point?
Wish I could continue but sadly, I'm calling it quits. If the withdraws kick in too hard, I'll settle for reading it and imagine Jason Damron's voice.
Thanks Bobby, it's been fun.
