The start of this book I found rather slow, however, as it progressed through the battle of Waterloo I found myself addicted to to story of the couple.

I really enjoyed this Audible book. The historical content is good, and the Chas interesting . Love the main female role. And the interaction of the characters.
Great storyline. And the performance of the narrator very good as female and male voices.

Once again I can only say that I really loved this audiobook. I was hoping a different end, but still found this whole book intriguing. Highly recommend if you love this type of reading. X

The first half is a bit tedious and the male character initially not very nice BUT it gets better so I am glad I stuck with it as I very nearly gave up

I am enjoying the Bedwin series so very much. Balogh is a gifted author, who writes so beautifully. this is one of my all time favourite books.
