Slick: Like the rest of my brothers, I’m devastated when disaster hits the Satan’s Devils MC. Shocked and angry, there couldn’t be a worse time to be contacted by the woman I’d briefly made my old lady, only for her to run the moment things got too tough. She’d left me with no explanation, and in my book that was enough to cut her out for good. When she finds herself in trouble Prez makes me go see her and offer my help. But only on the condition she knows what was once between us will stay dead and buried. There had been no good reason for her to run, had there?

Ella: I didn’t run from Slick, I ran from his club, only to find the world outside their protection can be just as dangerous. And now, to protect my little sister, I’ve no alternative other than to ask Slick for help. It’s not good timing, the Satan’s Devils have just lost one of their own.I understand why Slick wants to keep his distance, I ‘d hurt him when he’d put everything on the line, acting out of character and claiming me as his old lady. A gesture I’d thrown back in his face. But I’m not the same woman he first met. There are things he doesn’t know.

A book by this author never fails to completely grab my attention from start to finish, and it seems the audio books are just the same. Although I have read most of these books this is only the second audio book I have listened to. It took no time at all for me to be completely immersed in the story. I found myself making excuses to plug my headphones in so I could jump straight back in. The story translates so well into the audio version, losing none of the excitement you get from the actual book. It was so easy to imagine the characters and the events of the book. This is a fantastic book that I would highly recommend to everyone.

An exciting story

If I could I would totally insert the crying emoji first for this audiobook! What a way to start the third book in this series! Talk about emotional!! Slick is one of those characters that when you start listening about him you really question him and his personality but he’s been hurt and I can kind of understand him but it really didn’t take long for me to fall in love with him just as I have with the other brothers in this MC. Once he realised what had happened to Ella that MC protectiveness took over! As well as the amazing writing from this author the narrators really managed to bring this story to life and certainly added to the emotional parts of it even more!
A fantastic 5-star audio book that I highly recommend you listen to!

Slick Running has me on edge from the start. Poor Heart. I am so investedinto all the characters in this series. I have got to say the narrator of yhis story do a great job. I cried so much at the start. Ella has a shock to the system meeting these bikers. What can change in her life. This is such a gripping story and really gives you a wider presticve on the world. Oh wow this one had me weeping, crying, cheering, so reflective. I really enjoyed the narration as well. My god there so much packed into one book.

Amazing
