Lira has always been haunted by her dreams, but they're no mere nightmares; each vision is a plea—like this woman chained, abducted, and begging for salvation.

As an amateur sleuth, Lira has used her extraordinary intuitive abilities to assist the police. But this latest case of a woman's abduction is her most challenging yet. The recurring dreams leave Lira desperately searching for clues to the victim's identity and location, even as the weight of this burden threatens to push her to the brink of collapse.

While navigating her own mental health struggles and the flirtatious advances of Detective Tomas Heinz, Lira fights against time and the haunting dreams that tell her this woman is running out of time. Will she reach her, or will she end up sharing her fate?

Though Sleeping Beauty is an alternative to my usual sci fi genre, I found it such a lovely, enjoyable short story. It is well written and beautifully delivered. I will defininately be listening to more of Liz Bullards work.

A lovely quick read.
