an amazing history of the skunk works. well told and totally riveting account from day one to today. written by the people/person there from zero stealth to today. fascinating, loved every minute of it.

eye opening

this memoir was written by a man who worked during the golden years of Western industrial ingenuity... it's much like watching films from the 60s & 70s. Everything on the up and up, and you feel the authors excitement as things go largely from strength to strength. There's a little nod given to having insider contacts on speed dial, and I'm not sure how genuine the bribery scandals came as a shock to the upper echelons of the company, but getting into the problems designing cutting edge planes, and the excitement seeing it finally lift off the first time... very good. the narrator sounded like he had a cold for the middle few hours of the book, but otherwise good.

Wasn’t sure what to expect when I bought the audiobook. Was hooked from the off and couldn’t wait to listen to it daily until finished
Fabulous story telling about an amazing an unique aerospace engineering company from the guy who took over from Kelly Johnson at the helm
Extremely well narrated as well- spot on . Highly recommend and not just for people like me who are interested in aerospace history
