Summary

Teenage superspy Alex Rider is enlisted by the national security services again, this time for a routine reconnaissance mission at the Wimbledon Tennis Championships. But before long, Alex finds himself caught up in a terrifying chain of events that leads from the Chinese Triad gangs in London to an undercover assignment in Cuba. Alex begins to make chilling links between suspicious deaths, an illegal nuclear weapons deal and the plans of his host, Russian General Sarov, for the future of the world.

Series developing

Where does Skeleton Key rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Similar to the Young Bonds, Skeleton Key is a good book but not outstanding. Alex's character develops but the story is a little weak.

Would you be willing to try another book from Anthony Horowitz? Why or why not?

Absolutely, Horowitz is great.

What does Oliver Chris bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?

Well read, good accents.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Nope.

Any additional comments?

Looking forward to the next in the series.

Silly (good plot, but a lot of scientific errors)

It would be nice if author take into consideration terms like "critical mass" and "ferromagnetic materials" (which metals are ferro-/para-/diamagnetic).
